Out of seven matches this week there was five victories, one draw and just one loss!

M1 had a big match against Warwick 1s and won it 5-1, W2 comfortably beat Warwick 2s 12-0, and M2 did similarly well, winning their match against UEA 10-2. M3 beat Coventry 2s 8-4 and W4 won their first ever match in a decisive 10-2 victory over Bedforshire 1s. W3 did well to draw 6-6 against UEA 1s in a tough away match. Our one loss this week comes from W1 at a score of 4-8 against East London 1s, despite their captain Nanami Yamaguchi winning two 3 setters and making a huge comeback in her singles to win it 1-6, 6-1, 6-3.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Roman Kenny-manning from M1 who won a tie break with a single-handed backhand passing shot winner. Special mention to Nanami Yamaguchi for her efforts above.
