The Varsity competition is a historic battle between Oxford and Cambridge universities. Lawn Tennis Blues Varsity is played at the end of every Trinity term and has been played for 133 years (incl. 2023)! Reserves Varsity (2/3/4/5/6s) is also played annually and alternates between Home and Away (at Cambridge) each year. This is the event of the year that players mainly work towards throughout the year, especially in Trinity term when national BUCS league matches are complete. It also provides the opportunity for lots of players to get involved! All in all, it is a very special tournament with a lot of hype that is unique to tennis at Oxford and Cambridge universities.
