It's been a tough week with some mixed results in our BUCS matches but we represented Oxford well with lots of good tennis all over the country.
Sadly both blues teams lost their matches at the close score of 4-2, with W1 losing to Bristol and M1 to Nottingham 2s. Both M2 and W2 drew 3-3, with the womens team fighting valiantly against Leicester 1s which involved some excellent three setters. W3 travelled all the way to Cambridge only to be rained off😥 While M3 brought our first win with a glorious 6-0 victory! W4 sadly lost 8-4 against Anglia Ruskins 1s. M4 didn't fare much better against Nottingham 6s, losing 6-0 but again with half being lost in tough three setters. To finish were M5 bringing out the big guns and taking a compelling 6-0 win against Plymouth in the fast4 team challenge.
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: Casper Wiik Scheible and Matt Maynard from M2 who were the dream doubles team as well as both winning their singles matches.
