OULTC offers social memberships to all members of the university. We have four hard courts which social members can book and use at any time of the year when team training isn't taking place. Social membership also includes coaching each Sunday morning with racquets available for up to seven members per session for those who don't have them, the opportunity to move up into our development squads as your standard of play improves and entry into OULTC's Wimbledon ticket ballot.

Beginners Session

This player has had limited experience with stroke development and is still working primarily on getting the ball into play.

Intermediate Session

This player seeks on-court experience, with an emphasis on play. This player is starting to find an appropriate contact point, benefitting from stroke development/lessons and is learning the basic positions for singles and doubles.

Advanced Session

This player is ready to play social matches, leagues and low-level tournaments. This player is fairly consistent when hitting medium-paced shots, but is not comfortable with all strokes and lacks consistency when trying for complete control on their shots. Most common doubles formation is one up, one back.
